Itinerary Summary

Day 1. Traverze Culture’s concierge team will await the group’s arrival at the airport. Transportation will be provided to and from the airport. On the way to the hotel, we will stop for a money exchange or pick up toiletries needed for the trip.

Day 2. We will depart for our journey to the Xunantunich Mayan Ruins. The temple of El Castillo (The Castle) is the second largest man-made structure in Belize, measuring 130ft (40m). The site is approximately half a mile (1km) from Guatemala’s border.

Day 3. We will start our day preparing for our giveaway with Ladyville Highlights (nonprofit). Albert and Fiona have been giving back to the Belizean community, and WV has partnered with them to host a giveaway. The giveaway includes shoes, clothes, food, and personal toiletries.

Day 4. On this day, you will have the opportunity to rest after three days of experiencing Belize firsthand. Take advantage of the hotel pool, restaurant/bar, and excursions (Through Hotel Only).

Day 5. Parade /Independence Day Street Parade/ In Belize, September is a month brimming with holidays and festivities. The Battle of St George Caye on September 10 and Independence Day on September 21 are commemorated with parades, music, dancing, and vibrant costumes.

Day 6. Signature Traverze Culture Garifuna Celebration. The Afro-Belizean and the Garifuna people are why WV chose this beautiful country to curate Afro-focused tourism. This day WV and the Luba Garifuna Museum, Belize City, have put together a signature Garifuna presentation to tell the story of these beautiful people.

Day 7. City Tour Historical Sites We will start our day with a city tour of Belize City; we will stop in the historical neighborhood and see how the locals live daily. We will visit the statue of Belize’s first millionaire.  Isaiah Emmanuel Morter (1860 – 7 April 1924) was born in 1860 in the Freetown district of Belize.

Day 8. San Pedro, We will depart for San Pedro on a 1 ½ hour ferry ride over the Caribbean Ocean.  We will check into our private resort hotel and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 9. Rest Day This day is for you to relax and enjoy San Pedro. You can go to the spa or swim with the nurse sharks; it’s up to you.

Day 10. Day Beach Party Farewell We will have an exclusive farewell Beach party at the beautiful secret beach. You can rent out private cabanas and enjoy different water sports.
